The Cocochoco Keratin & Botox Certification course provides you with all the training and information needed to receive official Cocochoco Professional certification for you and your salon.

Are you a stylist and want to become Cocochoco Certified so you can perform Cocochoco keratin straightening and Hair Botox treatments? Due to popular demand we have created a learning platform which allows you to do the Cocochoco Professional training in your own time, fully online from the comfort of your home. This training is designed to provide you with a comprehensive insight into our company and our products, in addition to detailed and essential information on how to use and apply our products, and how your clients should be caring for the treatment. After submitting your assignment, you will get the same, fully accredited* certification as people who enrol in our live or in-person training courses. This course should only be taken by hairdressing professionals or hairdressing apprentices who are working towards becoming fully qualified.

At the end of the course you will need to upload evidence of your hairdressing profession (general hairdressing diploma or degree) or evidence of being enrolled in an apprentice program (If you don’t have necessary documents please contact us before enrolling). Our products are designed for professional use only, which is why we will only be certifying professional stylists in this course. By completing this course, you will receive official Cocochoco Professional certification, which provides you with the following benefits:

The course will be split into four key sections with an assignment at the end:

• About Cocochoco – A company overview
• Flagship product offerings – Keratin & Botox Treatment
• Aftercare – Maintaining your Cocochoco treatment
• Quiz – An assessment of your Cocochoco knowledge
• Assignment – You will need to upload videos of before & after of a model on which you performed the treatment. If you submit pictures your certificate will not be accredited.

Our self directed training portal contains 3 hours of pre-recorded lesson videos which give our students a better understanding of the covered topics. There is no live element to this course, so if you prefer to learn in a more dynamic setting with an interactive questions and answers session, we recommend signing up for our live training option instead.

Assignment:

To become a certified Cocochoco technician, you will need to submit an assignment, demonstrating your own work of the the Cocochoco Keratin and Hair Botox treatments on 2 models. If you want an AIT accredited certificate your submission will have to be in video form. This video should show each step of the process, as well as the results. If you wish to be certified in both treatments, one model will have to be the results of the Keratin treatment, and the other the results of the Hair Botox treatment. You will only be certified in the treatments you submit as assignments. Video submissions are required for accreditation.

If you do not need the certificate to be accredited, then you can submit before and after pictures of your work on two models. Again, you will only be certified in the treatments you submit assignments for. We recommend that you check with your insurance company whether you require accreditation for insurance cover before submitting your assignment.

As soon as you purchase the training, you will get an email with your username and password. You will also get an email with instructions telling you how to access the online training portal. Please note there is only one Training Terminal per person and one keratin and one botox certificate will be issued upon it’s completion. The Certificate will be issued in the name of the stylist who completed the course and assignment. In order to receive both the keratin and botox treatments, you will have to complete the assignment on both keratin and botox – you will only be certified in the treatments you submit as assignments. When you finish the training (and when your assignment is approved) you will also get a link to a PDF training manual which will be a handy guide that you can refer to in the future. Please note that the training portal is a home study training option and contains most of the reading content. This portal is recommended for experienced stylists who have experience with other keratin treatments, as this course is short and to-the-point. It is therefore different from live training where the teacher can greatly expand on the basic content and share the experience, advice and tips. Live interaction is not available through the portal, but our support team are available to answer your questions once you have completed training with us. If you think that descriptive training is not enough for you to fully learn the treatments, then we recommend live online training with a trainer. If you are not sure which training to choose, please contact us and our support team will provide you with all the necessary information.  

Please note that we are the training provider for Ireland, and we also provide Online training worldwide. We certify our students on behalf of Cocochoco Professional. We are accredited by Associated Irish Therapists (AIT). Our teacher has all the required certification to teach and assess. After the training you will be qualified to perform Brazilian Keratin Treatments using Cocochoco Keratin products. Certification recognition may vary from country to country, so it’s important to check local regulations and policies, before signing up for the training. Please note that only one postal fee is included in the training fee, so if you wish to get certified in one treatment, and then another at a later date, a second postal fee of €5.00 will apply to send the second certificate out separately.

*Fully accredited certificates will only be provided to students who submit video assignments, as this is a requirement from AIT
